I’m kicking off this brisk Tuesday morning from our new home office – coffee in hand, of course! It’s a cozy space, complete with a standing desk, new sconce lighting flanking either side of the desk, and some killer new swivel chairs – perfect for taking a quick phone call, or helping with an after-school homework session. 

This week, we’re easing into plenty of home projects – new and existing, a couple exciting, smaller-scale projects at the University, and an ultra-busy social calendar. But, let’s be honest, the social calendar is so fun – even if it is full of running the kids to their 12th practice of the week! 🙂 

I’m sure our schedule looks much like yours.

Very full, over-booked, exhausting – which brings on feelings of mental drain, the house is a mess, the sink is full of dirty dishes giving you dirty looks, and your personal to dos inevitably fall to the bottom of your never-ending list. 

I know that’s the way it is for us most of the time, too.
