From 5:45 AM to 9:15 PM: The Day That Had Other Plans
Today was one of those days. You know the kind. You wake up, motivated, and ready to tackle everything on your to do list. OK, maybe not everything. That would be crazy! But, most of the stuff on your to do list.
But instead, my day went a little differently than planned.
It went a little something like …
5:45 AM: Wake up
6:30 AM: Early morning hustle with a little work mixed in
7:25 AM: Take the kids to school
7:50 AM: Drop Harvey off at Papa’s
8:30 AM: TRAFFIC
9:00 AM: Networking event
10:15 AM: Campus partner call, while in traffic
11:00 AM: Grab lunch for Harvey and Papa
11:45 AM: Scoot home to tackle more work
1:00 PM: Campus work call
1:30 PM: Email catch up, let’s go!
2:50 PM: Big kid school pick up time
3:30 PM: Coffee break 🙂
4:00 PM: Kids’ homework session and snacks
4:30 PM: Prep for busy evening
4:50 PM: Out the door to ALL THE SPORTS
5:15 PM: Track meet
6:00 PM: Rush hour traffic hustle to soccer
7:00 PM: Soccer game in Papillion
8:15 PM: Scurry back home to start bedtime
9:15 PM: The kids are finally in bed, phew
Which brings me to right now. My first moment of peace in the day. Yes, my mind is still racing. Yes, there are still plenty of to do items left to check off. But, now is my moment of peace, and I’m going to soak it in fully.
Do you have days like this? I know I’m not alone.
Can you imagine more moments of peace in a home you love?
That’s exactly what we do at Nest with the Nelsons. We are on a mission to help you love your home again. We do the heavy lifting of the 1,000 … (maybe more!) design considerations, color selections, tile narrowing, and trend watching so you don’t have to. No more stressing about how we’re going to tackle the home projects, or the decision fatigue that comes along with it.
All you need to do is one simple thing. Take five minutes now, and tell us about your project.
Share what you’ve got going on in your home, and we’ll take it from there. Seriously, THAT’S IT!
We can’t wait to help you love your home again … without the stress and overwhelm.
Talk soon!
XOXO,
Megan Nelson
