What I’ve Learned About Life (and Design) Working Behind the Scenes at Nest with the Nelsons
I never thought that interior design in Omaha would have this much influence on my life, but as I am packing for college I am realizing how important it is to try to make your space feel like home.
Recently, my colleague Hannah and I have been working some of the behind the scenes at Nest with the Nelsons, mostly doing social media work helping to show people the love of this brand online. This was just a job at first, but now it is something I feel so connected with. Through every reel, logo, project reveal, I have really grown to see the beauty in it all. This made me realize that even the littlest thing you change in your space can make all the difference in how you feel about your home. As I head off to college, these are the things that are on my mind the most.

For me personally, I am going for the most cozy, and light colors to make that small crowded dorm room feel like home away from my home.
