So many reasons to be grateful today … even in the chaos

If you know, you know — when your husband travels, everything just feels a little … heavier.

The days are longer. The nights are louder. The to-do list somehow doubles overnight.

Suddenly, you’re not just “mom” … you’re the chauffeur, the chef, the referee, the bedtime negotiator, the errand runner, and the CEO of everything. And WOW! Carrying that mental load solo? It’s a lot.

Matt’s been traveling this week, and I’ll be honest, I’ve caught myself counting down the hours until he walks back through that door.

But today, I decided to pause that countdown.

And start counting something else instead — my blessings.

Not in a perfect, everything-is-magical kind of way. But in a real, grounding, this-is-what-matters-most kind of way.

Like…

✨ The laughter (and yes, occasional chaos) from our sweet kiddos
✨ A husband who loves and provides for our family so well
✨ A home that comforts us — messy, lived-in, and full of life
✨ A business built on connection, heart, and serving others
✨ And a faith that reminds me, over and over again, that we’re never doing this alone

It shifted something in me.

Because when life feels overwhelming, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is notice what’s already good.
