This elevated, in-person experience is perfect for the homeowner who craves clarity, inspiration, and expert guidance — but isn’t quite ready for a full design package. We’ll meet in your space to assess layout, flow, furnishings, finishes, and that one thing you just can’t figure out. Think of it as a two-hour design power session, tailored completely to your needs and your style.

What is your design style?
At Nest with the Nelsons, our design style generally lends itself to cozy, warm, relaxed, and casual with an elevated feel perfectly fit for families. We’re happy to help you achieve your own version of this style, and any other vibes you’re looking to strike in your own home.
Can I afford an interior designer?
The real question is — can you afford not to hire an interior designer? The purpose of bringing in a professional like Nest with the Nelsons at the beginning (preferably before) your project begins is to ensure common mistakes are avoided. Of course, mishaps can always arise, but our experience, eye for design, and professional communication help the entire design process go efficiently, effectively, and dare we say it — we even make it fun and enjoyable! 🙂
How long will my project take?
The length of design projects fully depends on the depth of the project. Are we improving a room with furnishings and decor? That turnaround may only be 4-6 weeks. Whereas, a more in-depth or larger-scale project can take longer!
Is any project too small?
We love to help refresh your home from the smallest (most beautifully enhanced!) powder rooms, to large main floor, basement, and whole home renovations. Hit us up with your project details — we’d love to recommend the package best suite for you and your needs.
Can you work with my budget?
We so enjoy working with clients to find budget pieces, as well as heirloom furniture, accents, and decor. Budget is an important aspect of our discussion as we begin each design project. We do our best to honor your budget, and help you determine where to invest vs. where to save on your home refresh.
Can you recommend local contractors?
You bet! We work with amazing contractors, and love to collaborate with them on your upcoming project.
