Easy Bathroom Upgrades Everyone Can Make
The bathroom, along with the kitchen, is one of the most used rooms in the home, and if your bathroom doesn't feel great, then it is highly likely you won't enjoy using it for any activity.

But the good news is you don't actually need to rip everything out and start again. You can start small and update features and fittings in your bathroom, empowering you to make it look better, function better, and feel more luxurious for your improved enjoyment and relaxation.

This post is going to look at a few easy upgrades you can make to improve your bathroom.

New Shower
A new shower entirely or a new shower head can be an instant practical upgrade that can help you improve your bathing experience. Whether you have a walk-in shower or an over-the-bath shower, new showers are an easy-to-make upgrade and add increased function and aesthetic to the room, especially if you coordinate the material with the style of the bathroom you are going for, or you can add a waterfall shower for example for added features.

Add Plants
Plants can instantly make any room feel much better, and you can use real or artificial plants and flowers to brighten your bathroom. You choose how and where to add them to your bathroom, for example, hanging baskets, pots on shelves, or on the floor for taller, more substantial plants, giving you full control over personalizing your space.

Change Lighting
Lighting can have a massive impact on any room, especially bathrooms. You need enough fighting for your bathroom activities, i.e., bathing and shaving, etc., but looking at layering lighting at different levels in the room, i.e., spotlights in ceilings or LED strip lights around baths or under shelving and countertops, can be beneficial oto. Use your fighting to help you create the right atmosphere in the room and boost how it makes you feel when you need it.

Shower Door, not Curtain
If you have a shower over a bath, adding a door instead of a curtain could be a worthwhile upgrade. This can instantly update the look, give it a higher-end feel, and reduce the curtain making the bathroom feel blocked or closed off. This isn't always possible in all bathrooms, but if you can, it's definitely an upgrade to consider.

Increase Natural Light
Adding more windows is not always possible, but you can maximize the natural light coming into the bathroom. You can remove anything blocking windows to allow more light in. You can use white walls facing a window to help reflect it into a room; mirrors work well for this, too. Or you can lighten up decor or paintwork to help you avoid darker colors absorbing the light, and you can use reflective materials within your decor to reflect light around the room.

Update Fittings
Lastly, updating fittings can instantly revive a bathroom with ease. From new faucets to light switches, you can swap shower heads only or add shower organizers, caddies, or anything else you like. All the small items can pull the whole together and complete your style for improved aesthetics and a visual upgrade to your bathroom.
